04/01/08 - Busy times.

Hello folks! Apologies for the lack of blog entries over the last couple of days - this is due to the fact that I work rather long hours and don't currently have a lot of time for play. Anyway, enough whining!

At the moment I'm putting together a web page that is going to detail my server setup a bit more. This will include details of the software and hardware involved as well as a description of how I went about setting it up. The intention behind the page will be to provide information and hopefully inspiration for others to also set up 68K web servers. It would be good to see more of these old, yet very capable Macs serving web pages on the internet in the future. There will also be photos of the setup, including my classy "server cabinet". More on that soon!

I've been enjoying reading people's blogs so far and I especially like wgoodf's videos of his ZX-81 and printer! The hits on my web server have gone up since the start of RC, though the majority of these are still from Google Bots.

That's it really. Weather's crap at the moment, though it did snow yesterday and sat until the rain came this afternoon. One of the drawbacks of living in Scotland!
